Access
Access to some of the management and configuration areas of PIM360 is limited to users set up with Administrative access. This section of the guide is included for general reference purposes only, as non-admin users will not need to do anything within these areas.
Management of Change EIC Explorer
The Engineering Information Context (EIC) Explorer allows modifications to data and documents to be controlled via an EIC.
General Access Users will not be able to view the EIC Explorer; this is restricted to Admin Access users. General users will be able to view the data held against EICs.
Object Allocator
This functionality manages the allocation of new tags. Access is restricted to Administrative Users.
Activity Manager
With General User access, you are able to view the Activity Manager. This is accessed by selecting Pending Activities from the LHS menu bar. You are able to view current and recent activity. Administrators are able to manage activities, including scheduling and automating of reports and exports; a general user has read only access in this screen.
Analytics
PIM360 Analytics tracking items such as page views and user logins is accessible via the ACL360 Dashboard for Administrators.
