Using an EIC

If permission has been granted to allow user to edit data directly in the tool this can be done in the Object’s Detailed Information screen via LiveView.

A blue edit box will be available in the Attributes panel.

All edits will need to be processed via an Engineering Information Context (EIC). See Loading Data to PIM360 Engineering Information Context EIC for more information on setting up and using an EIC.

When a change is made it is highlighted in amber and you get the option to save or revert back to the original data. (The cursor will need to be moved out of the modified attribute in order for the change to register).

When Save is selected the EIC and Data Source details need to be completed.
